Planning
- Requirements for the site
(Client goals, target audience, future of the website in long term, suggestions, ideas) - Site map
(Listing pages, hierarchy, links, ) - Contract
(including detailed project plan, payment terms, time lines, termination clauses, copyright ownership) - Server info and access
(domain registration, hosting setup or FTP host, username and password; control panel log-in information ) - Required content, photos, fonts, etc…

Design
- Design planning
(Visual layout of the website, colors, fonts, page layout ) - Mockups
(Mockup are given to Client to show and ask for review the layout, colors, fonts, etc ) - Review and approval
(The mockups are reviewed and changed, tweaked till Client and Designer are satisfied with the design. This is the time to make changes and not after the design has been coded ) - Coding time
(Get the visual on screen with HTML and CSS)
- Design planning

Development
- Addign PHP, MySQL, Javascript to code.

Launch
- Polishing the website pages.
- Transfer to the final Web server, but not make it live until it is completed with Testing.
- Testing
Final testing of links, HTML codes, spell checker, usability, etc… - Final Cross-browser testing (EI, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)
(Check the website in multiple browsers one last time. Just because code is valid, doesn’t mean it will sparkle with all browser.)
